Whether using digital or film cameras, this class will help everyone improve the quality of the portraits they are making. A great portrait (or any photograph) is created in that brief instant when the photographer, subject, and light come into alignment, are one.  In this class, I’ll demonstrate and discuss lighting and posing techniques used by professionals.  Lens selection and many portrait styles will be reviewed. Both studio and natural light will be thoroughly explored and demonstrated. This workshop will help everyone create and identify different lighting styles and the “decisive moment” in portrait making.
