Welcome to The Rhinebeck Photography and Art Center – located in the beautiful Hudson Valley, close to the majestic Hudson River and just 2 hours from New York City.
We offer a variety of classes designed to help people of all levels looking to explore and improve their photography, Photoshop, or Lightroom skills. We do this remotely or in person; one-on-one or group lessons are offered year-round.
With nature’s beauty as our backdrop, we take photographic excursions to some of the Hudson Valley’s most beautiful estates, gardens, and farms. This area is the birthplace of the Hudson River School of Painting, a favorite of mine and inspiring to many who visit. Some of the most beautiful estates, such as Olana, Wilderstein, Montgomery Place, and Vanderbilt Mansion, are also just a stone’s throw away.
Throughout our time together, we’ll be looking more closely at what goes into making a great photograph. Learning to see all things anew, noticing the nuances of light, color, form, and composition, all these things contribute to improving the photography you create.
